Well, it's been a while since my last post so I updated you on a lot of stuff:
1.) The Annie performances, although they were very stressful and seemed like they were going to be a COMPLETE disaster, turned out very good. Tons of people I know went. Thank you all!
2.) The honor jazz band at Scott Highlands Middle School is almost over. I can't wait for the concert! We started recording for the dvd this week, and all went pretty well.
On that same note (notice the pun :D), I'm a part of the rhythm section for one song (Cold Duck Time). It's really fun! I play the guiro.
3.) Um, I know there's something else.... Oh! Being the band geek that I am, I just can't wait for marching band this summer!! It's gonna be so fun!
4.) I also can't wait for our end-of-the-year field trip to Valleyfair! It's also gonna be extremely fun!! :D
5.) I have recently become a huge Gleek! For those of you who are not familiar with the term, I'm a huge fan of the tv show Glee! It's an amazing show! They have the life no one would turn down (they randomly burst out into song and no one looks at them like they're insane! I'd love that!).
6.) Also recently, my friend Kayli told me about this British guy on YouTube (channel: charlieissocoollike) who, 1. is in a Doctor Who band called Chameleon Circuit, so he is a gigantic fan of Doctor Who. But who in the UK isn't? 2. He's hilarious! and 3. He has some pretty good songs. His website is here. If you go to the music tab, you can listen to all the songs on his first solo album, This Is Me, for free. Also, the way he ends most of his YouTube videos is with a guy (that isn't pictured) with the stereotypical English butler voice saying, "You've just had almost the imponderable joy of watching CharlieIsSoCoolLike. Which makes you, like, cool." It's hilarious! And I'll add one of his videos that is of one of his Chameleon Circuit songs, Doctor What:
I think that's about it. Updates will hopefully happen pretty frequently now. But look at how well that worked out last time....
